QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:  

  1. i) BDS or equivalent Dental Qualification recognized by PMDC with following postgraduate qualifications;

“D.Sc, Ph.D, M.D.S (Pak.), M.Phil

OR

Equivalent postgraduate degree qualification recognized by PM&DC in the respective basic subject.

  1. ii) If no candidate with the aforesaid qualification is available then:

  1. NO. 24. (CASE NO. 17 – RE / 2015) RECRUITMENT  TO  (01) ONE PERMANENT  POSTS OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF PLASTIC SURGERY (BS-19).

 

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:  

  1. a) i) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council  (PMDC) and the postgraduate qualification of FCPS / MS / FRCS / MRCP / MD / Diplomat of American Board in the respective speciality or equivalent medical qualification in the respective speciality recognized by PMDC;

OR

  1. b) ii) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and the postgraduate qualification of FCPS / MS / FRCS / MRCP / MD / Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery / Medicine) or any other equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMDC with three years practical experience in the respectivespeciality in a recognized institution after post graduation.

 

  1. c) 5 years teaching experience in the speciality in a recognized institution as Assistant Professor or equivalent position recognized by the PMDC with atleast 3 research papers published in a standard medical journal.

 

AGE:                30  to 50 + 5  years general age relaxation in upper age limit for Male Candidates = 55 years and 30 to 50 + 8 years general age relaxation in upper age limit for Female candidates = 58 years on 16-02-2015 as per Government of Punjab, S&GAD Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 21-05-2012.

NOTE:

            Two sets of photocopy of following documents will be required to be submitted alongwith hard copy of Online Application Form within 07 days after the closing date:-

  1. a) Original Treasury Receipt of fee deposited.
  2. b) Matriculation Certificate, showing date of birth and in case of ‘O’ Level, equivalent certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad and date of birth given in school leaving certificate.
  3. c) Intermediate Certificate / ‘A’ Level along with certificate of equivalent qualification.
  4. d) Degree and Detailed marks of MBBS (1st to final profs) duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentages and postgraduate Degree / DMC in the subject. In case detailed marks are not produced, then minimum passing marks will be considered.
  5. e) Domicile certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab issued on or before the closing date.
  6. f) In case of Government Servant, the Departmental Permission Certificate (available on web site) duly signed & stamped by the Competent Authority of concerned Department.
  7. g) Experience certificate (specimen available on website) issued from competent authority i.e. Health Department.

  14. n) For the post of Associate Professor, only three research papers are required, however, candidates may submit maximum six research papers in order of priority / quality. No additional research papers will be entertained because there is no weightagefor additional research papers.

QUALIFICATION:          2nd Class Master’s Degree in Psychology with special emphasis on theory and practice of test construction, their use and interpretation and / or statistical method and research technique.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  1. Applicants are required to submit ONLINE Application Forms by the closing date which is 16-02-2015 upto 04:00 P.M. Candidates should fill the Online form carefully for which detailed guidelines and instructions have been given on Punjab Public Service Commission’s website           www.ppsc.gop.pk. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till 04:00 P.M (office closing time) of last date of submission of online applications. Applications other than ONLINE will not be accepted.

 

  1. Candidates will have to deposit Rs:300/- for Sr. No.24 and Rs:400/- for Sr. No.23, 25, 26 & 27 under head:“C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC  SERVICE COMMISSION”, in any Branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government  Treasury before the closing date and receipt number will be mentioned inthe Online application form. Original receipt will be produced at the time of Written test, interview / viva voce without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the test, interview / viva voce. Original receipt will beretained  by  PPSC  for  record  purposes.

 

  1. HARD COPY of ON-LINE Application Form is not required. (For Sr. No. 23, 25, 26 & 27)

 

  1. Candidates are requested to mention their e-mail addresses in the On-Line Application Form. Those who do not have e-mail addresses are advised to create an e-mail account immediately. Correspondence with candidates will be made through E-mail thus add “ppsc-info@ppsc.gop.pk” into your contacts / address book as to ensure the delivery of PPSC mail into INBOX rather than into JUNK / SPAM like folder.

 

  1. If the number of applicants is higher than 10000 or Post-to-Candidate ratio is more than 1:100, the candidates shall be shortlisted for written test as per Post-to-Candidate ratio of 1:50 on academic basis.

 

  1. If the number of applicants is abnormally large, the candidates will be short-listed for written test as per post-to-candidates ratio of 1-30 on academic basis qualifications.

 

  1. The academic merit will be calculated on the basis of percentage of Marks obtained in the Board / University examination from Matric to minimum qualification provided in the online application form as per policy.

 

  1. If a candidate possesses higher qualification of minimum two years then the minimum qualification prescribed for a post, he/ she will be exempted  from  shortlisting and will be called for written test.

 

  1. In case a large number of applications are received, one paper written test (MCQ type) of 100 marks relating to prescribed qualification and job description of the post will be conducted to shortlist the candidates.

 

  1. Schedule of interviews for the said posts will be uploaded on the Commission’s website from where candidates can download their Call-up-letter and information about date, time and venue of interview. No candidate will be informed about the date of interview individually. The candidates should remain in touch with the Punjab Public Service Commission’s website: www.ppsc.gop.pk for further information.

 

  1. Scheduleof written test / Exam will be given on PPSC website from where candidates can download their roll numbers and information about date, time and venues. No candidate will be informed about the date of Written Test/ Interview individually. The candidates should remain in touch with the Punjab Public Service Commission Office or visit the Commission’s Website: www.ppsc.gop.pk for further information.

 

  1. If number of applications is less than 150, the candidates will be shortlisted for interview on academic basis without any written test if written test is not mandatory in the prescribed Service Rules.

 

  1. IN CASE ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE CANDIDATE IN HIS/ HER ONLINE APPLICATION FORMPROVE TO BE INCORRECT AT ANY STAGE, HE/ SHE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND DISCIPLINARY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN UNDER THE RULES.

 

  1. The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the CompetentAuthority only if no date for written examination is fixed and in case when selection is made only on the basis of viva-voce/interview, before finalization of viva-voce/ interview.

  1. In case of disabled person, Column 20 of Online Application Form should be filled in mentioning “Yes” or “No”. If the candidate is disabled, he/she will have to submit a certificate from the Provincial Council for rehabilitation of Disabled persons of Social Welfare Department.

  5. d)Degrees / Detailed marks certificate of MBBS (1st to final professionals) duly issued by the Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks, CGPA / GPA or percentages of marks.
  6. e)Postgraduate qualifications degree / diploma.
  7. f)Degrees / Detailed marks of Sc Computer Science (04 years) / BCS (04 years)issued by the Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks & percentages.
  8. g)2-years experience certificate showing the nature of duties / experience (specimen available on website) issued from competent authority, if required.
  9. h)Degrees / Detailed marks of B.A / Sc issued by the Controller of Examinations.

  18. q)Equivalence of the qualifications / degrees will be determined by the Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee (QEDC) of the concerned                 Administrative Department.
  19. r)Valid PMDC registration certificate showing all medical degrees / postgraduate qualifications therein.

 

Important  Note:

  1. I) Candidates will be called for interview provisionally. On detailed scrutiny of applications of candidates, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his / her application will be rejected.

 

  1. ii) Candidates will be admitted to the written test (if held) provisionally. Detailed scrutiny will be carried out of applications of candidates declared successful in written test, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his /her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he / she appeared in the Written Test and / or qualified therein.

 

iii)         To avoid frustration, candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before applying that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules and     selection criteria as advertised   relating to the post before the closing date.
